Conference fee

The conference fee is all-inclusive. It includes registration:
Access to the presentations
Accommodation
Meals
Taxes and gratuities from the night of Sunday, September 24 to the coffee break of Thursday afternoon, September 28.
Incidental fees (telephone calls, faxes, equipment rentals, bar, etc.) are billed to your personal account by the hotel. ALL PARTICIPANTS (INCLUDING MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE AND INVITED SPEAKERS) ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER. The all-inclusive registration costs will be calculated and will be charged in € on your credit card according to the schedule below.

Accommodation

A special rate of 135€ for single or double occupancy has been negotiated with the hotel for the period preceding and following the conference, meals and taxes are not included for those extra days . Please note that hotel reservations cannot be made if you are not registered to the Conference.
Hotel allocation will be made on a first come first served basis. You should register early. the number of hotel rooms at the convention site is limited. The Organizing Secretariat is able to arrange special accommodation in case of special needs such as the use of a wheelchair. Please do not contact the hotel directly as all reservations are handled by Conferium Conference Services.

Transportation

Transportation to & from the hotel: Upon arrival at the airport, you should use a taxi (around 30 €) or public transportation (the subway runs from the airport) since the hotel is only  a short ride from the airport. We will organize a group transportation for the morning of Thursday to take people to the airport

Passport and Visa Information

All participants need a valid passport to enter the European Union. Visas may be required for participants of some countries. For specific information, please contact the nearest Spanish Embassy at least six weeks prior to your departure to the 13th PEACe Conference. Letter for visa. They can only be sent by email (free of charge) or Priority Mail at the cost of 100 € each priority-mailed envelope. Fees for a group of letters can be paid only once if all letters are to be sent at the same address, at the same time). This is not refundable.

Method of payment accepted

We recommend that you make payments with Paypal or your credit card (We will be using Paypal as a primary payment method, but you can use your credit card on the Paypal payment site). If you are planning to pay by Bank transfers please the payment has to be transfered in Euros. All payments should be made in advance in Euros € (payments in any other currency will not be accepted).

Cancellation/ Refund

A refund of your Registration Fee less an administration charge of 100 € will only be available by providing notification of cancellation in writing (facsimile and e-mails are also accepted) to the Organizing Secretariat prior August 1st, 2017. Refunds will be made after the conference. Please clearly indicate the bank, branch and account number, as well as the Swift code and full address of both the bank and the registered person to which the refund should be made, if you paid by bank transfer. If you paid by credit card, the reimbursement will be made on it.
Any money transferring charges will be deducted from the registration fee. For cancellations after August 1st, 2017, no refunds will be given. However, registrants will receive their Conference material by mail after the meeting.

Substitutions

Substitutions are welcomed if you are unable to attend the Conference and would like to send another person in your place. There will be a 50 € charge. Please advise us by email (peace@conferium.com) of your replacement. Substitutions will also be accepted on-site. Please note that only one person may attend per registration. You may not split a registration (i.e. the same person must attend the entire program on a single registration).

Important Notices

Write your name as you would like it to appear on your Conference badge.
Registrations will not be accepted by phone.
Registrations to the Conference cannot be confirmed if the Registration is not accompanied by the appropriate payment.
Registrations and/or payments received after the early registration deadline of July 15th, 2017 will be viewed as regular registration and the regular registration fee will be charged. After July 15th, 2017 the late registration fee will be charged.
Registrations received after September 15th, 2017 will not be accepted, and participants will have to register on-site.
The Local Organizers or Organizing Secretariat will not accept liability for any kind of money loss.
Collective Payment
If a collective payment has been made, please indicate the name of the remitter and attach a list of participants in order to confirm accurately their individual

Payments

Registration Confirmation
You will receive an acknowledgement by e-mail as soon as the Organizing Secretariat has received your electronic registration. Registrations are only confirmed upon receipt of complete payment. Allow approximately one week after receipt of your completed registration form and required payment to receive confirmation with details of your registration. All confirmations are sent by e-mail. In order to avoid any problems when registering at the Conference, participants are kindly requested to carry with them the complete documentation of payment of the registration fee.

Any money transferring charges will be deducted from the registration fee. For cancellations after August 1st, 2017, no refunds will be given. However, registrants will receive their Conference material by mail after the meeting.

Badges to access the conference site
You will receive a personalized badge when collecting your registration documentation. This badge has to be worn at all times to enable you to access the scientific sessions and exhibition area.

Credit card and Currency Exchange
Major credit cards (VISA and MasterCard) are accepted in most shops, hotels and restaurants. The currency accepted  is €. Exchange rates can be viewed at: http://www.xe.com/ucc/

On-Site Registration

On-site registration will start on September 24th, 2017. The on-site Registration Desk will be located in the Lobby and will be open from 08:00 until 17:30 all days. On-site payments can be made in cash or by one of the following credit cards: Visa and Master Card. It cannot be guaranteed that participants who register on-site will receive a delegate bag with the Final Program and other Conference Materials. Availability will depend on the number of on-site registrants. Also, be aware that we have reserved a limited number of rooms and that you might not find a room at the hotel with a late registration.

Accompanying person

Accompanying person are admitted to the Welcome reception, Farewell reception, coffee breaks, all included meals and services. The registration fee does not include conference materials or admission to the scientific sessions.

13th PEACe and/or its agent have the right for any reason beyond their control to alter or cancel, without prior notice, the Conference or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly to the 13th Protein Expression in Animal Cells Conference and/or its agent shall not, subject as afore-mentioned, be liable for any loss, damage, expenditure or inconveniences caused as a result of such alteration or cancellation.
