Accessible snapshot hyperspectral imaging architectures
Main Author: C. Harrison Brodie Organization: University of Guelph, Canada This work presents the design and performance evaluation for an accessible hyperspectral imaging architecture, capable of snapshot operation. Accessibility of this design is facilitated by implementing an optical disc as both a diffractive element and a dynamic coded aperture. This aperture is rotated to impart frequency multiplexing onto an image beam across three distinct spatial channels. The spectrum of each channel is reconstructed using uncomplicated Fourier analyses and the wavelength is determined using geometric and diffraction calculations. |
